- Cabinet restoration: new vinyl covering, new knobs, new amp corners, speaker cloth including vox diamond cloth, metalwork respray etc.
- Electronic restoration: I can get rid of annoying hums and hisses! I can replace old electrolytic capacitors in your amplifiers, scratchy pots (volume controls etc, loose/faulty jack, XLR, Speakon connectors/sockets etc. very economically.

Biography:
I am an electronic engineer although I originally started out as a physicist with a specialisation in optics and optoelectronics. My research into low dimensional semiconductor devices has been published in peer reviewed journals including Physical Review B and Physical Review Letters.
I have various professional and technical qualifications including:
- C&G 2377-02 Portable Appliance Testing
- Certified IPC Specialist (IPC-A-610D), Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies
I have also successfully completed various other courses in programming, computer networking etc.
I have worked as an engineer for a number of years for companies including: Intel, Lucent Tecnologies and EMC.
